Mocklar explains, “The aim was to create something timeless in both style and lifecycle. Wearable Technology and Health Monitoring

Another remarkable project is FlowState, developed by Flynn Coyne in the Health Design Studio course. This wearable device addresses health monitoring in high-energy environments like music festivals, where the risks of dehydration and overheating are often overlooked. By leveraging cutting-edge non-invasive biosensors, FlowState offers real-time alerts regarding hydration levels and blood alcohol concentration, enhancing personal safety without disrupting the festival experience.

Another project, called Daydreamr by Vu Ly, reinterprets the function of floor lamps to create atmospheric shifts in interior spaces. The Kanga Bicycle, conceptualized by Roberto Ponte, Emily Zhang, and Youjin Chung, tackles challenges faced by amateur cyclists. This bicycle incorporates ergonomic design with features that adapt to various terrains, integrating a unique handlebar that allows for multiple grip positions. Additionally, the incorporation of a glass fiber composite leaf-spring suspension system aims to minimize physical discomfort over long rides.
